What investigations confirm leptomeningeal angiomatosis?

MRI or CT scanning with contrast localizes the pial vascular anomalies and reveals intracranial calcification early in life. In later childhood (mean age, 7 years), a plain skull x-ray may reveal the typical double-contoured, curvilinear, “tram tracks” of calcification.
