What are the neurocutaneous manifestations of ciguatera poisoning?

Pruritus is noted in about half of the cases, often confined to palms and soles, and is exacerbated by exercise or alcohol consumption. There are often perioral and acral dysesthesias that most distinctively demonstrate a heat-cold reversal phenomenon. Dry mouth may also occur.
