Nudose, or exfoliative form The nudose, or exfoliative form, differs from the preceding forms by the fact that neither vesicles nor pustules are observed, but instead a rapid loosening and exfoliation of the horny layer over the whole or greater part of the affected area. The succeeding exudation may be serous, seropurulent, or purulent, and crusts form, as already described. In the second and third stages the appearances are the same as those presented by the two first-named varieties. |
