The diagnostic criteria are met by an individual who has - Bilateral vestibular schwannomas or - First-degree relative with NF-2 and unilateral eighth nerve mass or two of the following: neurofibroma, meningioma, glioma, schwannoma, or juvenile posterior subcapsular lenticular opacity.
