What are IPL machines used to treat?

The wide range of available wavelengths allows the IPLs to be very versatile. They have been used for hair removal, treatment of vascular lesions, treatment of pigmented lesions, and nonablative resurfacing. IPL machines have a base platform that delivers the energy to the handpiece. These handpieces now have not only pure IPL but have a variety of laser handpieces. These deliver many different wavelengths based on the different handpieces.
