Which local anesthetics are “the safest” to use in pregnancy?

Bupivacaine and chloroprocaine. Both drugs are classified as Food and Drug Administration (FDA) pregnancy risk category C. However, it is preferable to avoid all local anesthetics, if possible. Epinephrine should not be used in pregnancy.
